Growing Zone for
Description
Organic Duganski rewards the eye as generously as the kitchen, with cream wrappers swept in vivid purple and red-violet cloves inside. Its curled scapes make a tender early harvest, while its Central Asian history adds a wonderful story to a labeled tasting collection.
Raw cloves are lively and assertive in salsa, pesto and ferments. Cooking softens the fire into a full, lingering garlic flavor that stands up beautifully in beans, braises and roasted vegetables.
Plant in fall in full sun where winter chill can support hardneck growth. Snip the scapes young and dig around mid-summer as the lower foliage browns.

Shipping
Seed garlic and shallots are seasonal preorder items. Standard shipping is a flat $14.99 per order, regardless of quantity or weight. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge.
Fall shipping schedule
Shipping is expected to begin after September 15, starting with colder USDA growing zones and moving to warmer zones as planting windows approach. Later-arriving varieties may delay an order until all items are ready. Dates are estimates and may shift with harvest timing, weather, or quality inspections.
If you are purchasing garlic or shallots with other plants or products, we recommend placing separate orders. This prevents other items from being held until the garlic is ready and avoids the time and potential expense of dividing a mixed order later. It can also save you money when plants require expedited shipping for cross-country travel.
Destination restrictions shown on the product page or at checkout still apply.
