Sedum spurium
Voodoo

A terrific, trouble-free edger, trailer, or dry garden groundcover, Sedum spurium ‘Voodoo’ brings intense color in a very low-maintenance package. This creeping stonecrop forms a dense mat of reddish mahogany foliage to about 18" across, creating bold contrast along paths, in rock gardens, over walls, and in succulent containers.

Also known as Voodoo Sedum or two-row stonecrop, this drought tolerant perennial is especially striking when its almost neon rosy-red flowers appear from June through August, held tight and low against the dark foliage. The color combination is dramatic, compact, and wonderfully useful for small spaces, gravel gardens, edging, and water-wise plantings. It pairs beautifully with silver succulents, blue foliage, ornamental grasses, and hot-colored blooms.

Plant Sedum spurium ‘Voodoo’ in full sun to light shade with well-drained soil. Easy, hardy, and deer resistant, it asks for very little while delivering rich texture and seasonal flower power. Explore more tough little treasures in our Sedum collection.
