This creeping stonecrop forms a dense mat of reddish mahogany foliage to about 18" across, creating bold contrast along paths, in rock gardens, over walls, and in succulent containers.

Also known as Voodoo Sedum or two-row stonecrop, this drought tolerant perennial is especially striking when its almost neon rosy-red flowers appear from June through August, held tight and low against the dark foliage. The color combination is dramatic, compact, and wonderfully useful for small spaces, gravel gardens, edging, and water-wise plantings. It pairs beautifully with silver succulents, blue foliage, ornamental grasses, and hot-colored blooms.
