Seasonal Garlic & Shallots — Delivery & Guarantee
When your order arrives
Seed garlic and shallots are living, perishable planting stock. Please open your package right away and inspect everything carefully. If an item arrives in substandard condition, take clear photographs of the item and packaging and contact Annie’s Customer Service within 3 days of delivery (or pickup).
Keep garlic heads intact while inspecting them. We cannot accept an arrival-condition claim after a head has been broken into individual cloves. When an arrival claim is approved, we will refund the product purchase price, excluding shipping.
Limited seed garlic germination guarantee
Seed garlic purchased directly from Annie’s is covered by a limited germination guarantee when it is planted by November 15 and cared for according to our Garlic & Shallot Plant Care & Arrival Guide.
If more than 50% of the planted cloves fail to germinate, contact us within 45 days of purchase or delivery. Claims submitted after December 31 are not eligible. We may ask for photographs or other planting documentation. Approved claims receive store credit for the seed garlic purchase price, excluding shipping.
This limited guarantee covers germination only. It does not guarantee continued plant health, bulb size, or harvest yield, which can be affected by soil preparation, fertility, weeds, pests, disease, weather, temperature, and irrigation. The limited germination guarantee applies to seed garlic only and does not apply to shallots.
