Digitalis, or Foxgloves, are cottage-garden classics with tall flower spikes lined in beautiful, bell-shaped blooms. Colors range from purple and pink to white and yellow, adding instant height and drama to beds and borders. Many are easy to grow and often self-seed, blooming in summer and making a striking backdrop for shorter plants. Foxgloves handle a range of light—from bright shade to full sun—and their blooms are lovely in cut arrangements. Pollinators adore them, too.
