Collection: Vines

Flowering vines turn fences, arbors, trellises, and walls into vertical garden space. Their climbing, twining, scrambling, or trailing stems can soften hard edges, frame a view, create seasonal screening, or carry flowers where ground space is scarce. Some are fast-growing annuals that deliver one glorious season; others are perennial vines that return and increase in size over time.

Choose a climbing plant by mature height, growth habit, support needs, and climate. Twining stems need slender structures they can wrap around, while heavier vines require sturdy, well-anchored support. Light, water, cold tolerance, pruning, and bloom season vary widely. Check each product page before planting, and allow enough room for the variety’s mature spread.

Use flowering vines to bring fragrance near a patio, hummingbird activity to a fence, shade to an arbor, or bright color to a container fitted with a trellis. Less vigorous selections can add height without swallowing the garden; exuberant growers need thoughtful placement and regular guidance.
