Description
Georgian Fire is the garlic to choose when you want real spark. Sturdy plants finish with creamy bulbs holding a handful of substantial cloves, often touched with rose or purple, and the scapes arrive as a delicious preview of the main harvest.
Finely minced raw cloves deliver unmistakable heat to salsa, pesto and spicy condiments. Roasting and long cooking soften the sharp edge but preserve a deep, lingering garlic flavor for soups, braises and spreads.
Plant in fall in full sun with dependable winter chill and freely draining soil. Pick the scapes young, then harvest around mid-summer as the lower leaves brown.

Approved claims receive store credit for the seed garlic purchase price, excluding shipping. Photos or planting documentation may be required. This guarantee does not apply to shallots or cover later growth, bulb size, or harvest yield.
Shipping
Seed garlic and shallots are seasonal preorder items. Standard shipping is a flat $14.99 per order, regardless of quantity or weight. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge.
Fall shipping schedule
Shipping is expected to begin after September 15, starting with colder USDA growing zones and moving to warmer zones as planting windows approach. Later-arriving varieties may delay an order until all items are ready. Dates are estimates and may shift with harvest timing, weather, or quality inspections.
If you are purchasing garlic or shallots with other plants or products, we recommend placing separate orders. This prevents other items from being held until the garlic is ready and avoids the time and potential expense of dividing a mixed order later. It can also save you money when plants require expedited shipping for cross-country travel.
Destination restrictions shown on the product page or at checkout still apply.
