When Your Plants Arrive
- Open your box right away.
- Place plants outdoors in bright shade immediately. Please see the temperature advisory below.
- Check moisture in each pot and water if dry.
- Plant outdoors within 2 to 3 days of arrival whenever possible. Do not keep plants indoors.
- If plants arrive damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Photos are required.
Planting & Early Care
- Review each plant’s individual growing requirements on our website before planting.
- Use a high-quality planting mix for containers.
- Keep plants consistently moist, but not soggy, while they establish.
Temperature Advisory
Over 85°F or under 38°F
Plants are not guaranteed during extreme temperatures. If conditions are particularly hot or cold:
- Remove plants from the box immediately and place them in a sheltered outdoor location.
- In hot weather, keep plants shaded for the first day or two to allow gradual acclimation.
- In cold weather, protect plants outdoors until temperatures moderate.
- Plant early morning or late afternoon in heat; plant mid-day in cold conditions.
If planting is delayed more than one week, re-pot them into a larger container with well-draining soil and continue regular watering according to each plant’s specific needs.
Guarantee
If there’s an issue with your plants, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We are here to help. Plants that arrive damaged may be eligible for replacement or refund, subject to availability.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. We cannot guarantee plants that are damaged after delivery by extreme weather, neglect, incompatible growing conditions, insects, or animal damage. Photos are required. Please do not dispose of the plants or the packaging. The carrier may request inspection if there is damage.
