Description

Summer Peaches lays a whisper of warm color across the ground. Tiny flower clusters gather in nuanced peach tones, knitting together into a 3–4-inch carpet that softens paths, borders, rose beds, and the open soil around spring bulbs.

The effect is delicate, but the fragrance carries: a honeyed perfume drifts on warm air and draws butterflies and beneficial insects. Fast bloom and a naturally compact habit make this an especially graceful filler for containers.

Sowing & Growing Instructions

In early spring, sow thinly in finely worked soil in full sun, spacing seeds about 1/2 inch apart and barely covering them. Keep the surface evenly moist. Germination is typically 10–14 days under the source conditions.

For an indoor start, broadcast seed in a flat 3–4 weeks before the last frost. Transplant small clusters of 4–5 seedlings several inches apart. In mild-winter regions, fall sowing can establish a carpet for spring bloom.

Ordinary garden soil and even moisture are sufficient. Plants can flower 6–8 weeks from sowing; after the first intense flush, shear them back by half to encourage abundant rebloom.
