Organic Western Rose Garlic (lb)

Organic Western Rose extends the pleasure of garlic season with a later harvest and excellent keeping potential. Pale Silverskin bulbs hide rose-toned cloves, while flexible stems make this variety especially pretty in a pantry braid.

Its medium classic flavor works everywhere from pesto and pickles to soups and roasted vegetables. Raw cloves have a brighter bite; slow heat brings forward sweetness and a smoother finish.

Plant in fall in a sunny, freely draining bed and give the bulbs time to finish. Taper water as the tops decline in mid- to late summer, then cure thoroughly for long storage.

Open and inspect your garlic or shallots promptly. If an item arrives in substandard condition, keep garlic heads intact, photograph the item and packaging, and contact Customer Service within 3 days. Approved arrival claims are refunded at the product purchase price, excluding shipping.

Limited seed garlic germination guarantee

Seed garlic planted by November 15 is covered for germination. If more than 50% of the cloves fail to germinate, contact us within 45 days of purchase or delivery and no later than December 31. Approved claims receive store credit for the seed garlic purchase price, excluding shipping. Photos or planting documentation may be required. This guarantee does not apply to shallots or cover later growth, bulb size, or harvest yield.

Seed garlic and shallots are seasonal preorder items. Standard shipping is a flat $14.99 per order, regardless of quantity or weight. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge.

Fall shipping schedule

Shipping is expected to begin after September 15, starting with colder USDA growing zones and moving to warmer zones as planting windows approach. Later-arriving varieties may delay an order until all items are ready. Dates are estimates and may shift with harvest timing, weather, or quality inspections.

If you are purchasing garlic or shallots with other plants or products, we recommend placing separate orders. This prevents other items from being held until the garlic is ready and avoids the time and potential expense of dividing a mixed order later. It can also save you money when plants require expedited shipping for cross-country travel.

Open your package promptly and keep bulbs whole in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place until planting. If anything arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours and include photos.
