Collection: Deschampsia
Deschampsia, also known as Hairgrass, are ornamental grasses native to savannas and grasslands around the world. Crinkled Hairgrass grows as a clump of fine textured dark green leaves. In spring, many feathery pinkish white flower heads emerge. The flowers are followed by equally lovely seed heads that remain for many months. Hairgrass is a cool season, semi evergreen grass. It may go partially dormant during the hottest, driest part of the year. Rich soil and occasional watering will keep them looking lush. Shop Annie’s Annuals Deschampsia grass selections below.
