Antirrhinum majus ‘Double Azalea Red’ is a seductive, mulberry-red snapdragon with full, fluffy blooms that look more like tiny azaleas than classic snaps. Fragrant, richly colored, and wonderfully showy, this cottage garden beauty brings height, texture, and romantic color from spring into autumn.

Growing on tall, branching stems up to 36" high, ‘Double Azalea Red’ Snapdragon is fabulous in sunny borders, cutting gardens, cottage plantings, and large containers where its deep, velvety color can really shine. The ruffled blooms make amazing cut flowers, adding moody richness to bouquets and floral arrangements.

Plant Antirrhinum majus ‘Double Azalea Red’ in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and a little compost for best performance. After the first full flush of blooms, cut plants back to about 8" tall to encourage another round of flowers. Bold, fragrant, and beautifully upright, this is a must-have snapdragon for gardeners who like their blooms with a little flair.
