Zinnia marylandica
Zahara Double Fire

Compact, fiery, and fabulously tough, Zinnia marylandica ‘Zahara Double Fire’ is a glowing little powerhouse for sunny summer gardens. Its fully double blooms blaze in hot orange-red tones, with a sunlit intensity that brings instant warmth to containers, edging, borders, mass plantings, and low-maintenance seasonal displays. Tidy, sturdy, and wonderfully floriferous, it delivers bold color without taking over the garden.

Also known as Zahara Double Fire Zinnia, this hardworking annual grows about 12 to 18 inches tall and is perfect for gardeners who want strong, reliable bloom through the heat of summer. The warm, flame-colored flowers look fabulous with yellow marigolds, purple salvias, blue flowers, ornamental grasses, lime foliage, and other heat-loving annuals, creating a cheerful, high-energy palette that keeps beds and patio pots looking bright and lively. Bees and butterflies are frequent visitors, adding even more movement to the long bloom show.

Plant Zinnia marylandica ‘Zahara Double Fire’ in full sun with regular water. Lightly shear or deadhead if plants need refreshing, then enjoy a steady parade of glowing blooms from summer into fall. Bright, compact, and wonderfully easygoing, this zinnia brings pollinator-friendly color, tidy garden structure, and a fabulous little burst of fire to sunny spaces.
