Zinnia elegans
Magellan Orange

Bright, bold, and glowing with pure summer energy, Zinnia elegans ‘Magellan Orange’ is a compact little burst of sunshine for the garden. Large, fully double blooms open in rich, vivid orange, covering tidy plants with warm, festive color that feels cheerful, polished, and wonderfully abundant. It brings instant brightness to containers, sunny borders, pollinator beds, cutting gardens, and any small space that could use a sparkling seasonal lift.

This easy annual grows about 12 to 14 inches tall, delivering big flower impact on neat, garden-friendly plants. It is especially useful for patio pots, edging, front-of-border plantings, cottage gardens, and compact flower beds where strong color makes a big impression. The glowing orange blooms look fabulous with purple salvias, blue flowers, lime foliage, marigolds, cosmos, ornamental grasses, and other bright summer annuals, creating a lively, sun-warmed palette that feels full of movement and joy.

Plant Zinnia elegans ‘Magellan Orange’ in full sun with regular water. Deadhead or cut flowers often to keep the blooms coming from summer into fall, and enjoy the steady parade of bees and butterflies that visit the flowers. Compact, colorful, and reliably floriferous, this orange zinnia brings easy beauty, bouquet-worthy blooms, and bold pollinator-friendly charm all season long.
