An elegant and long-blooming Penstemon, ‘Catherine De La Mare’ charms with upright spires of luminous lavender-blue flowers that seem to glow in the garden and draw in hummingbirds and other welcome pollinators. The graceful flowering stems rise above neat green foliage, bringing vertical interest and a soft, refined color note to borders, cottage gardens, and cutting beds. Wonderfully floriferous and easy to combine with other sun-loving perennials, it adds both structure and romance to mixed plantings. Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil, this lovely perennial thrives with regular water and rewards gardeners with a generous flowering season. Reaching about 12–18" tall, it is a beautiful choice for adding cool color and airy elegance to the summer garden.
