Description
Lavender Mint is the mint for cooks in the know, bringing a soft floral note to one of the easiest herbs you can grow. This fragrant culinary mint is especially useful in savory dishes, teas, desserts, and garden cocktails, with aromatic foliage that offers a lovely lavender-mint character when brushed or harvested.
Also known as Lavender Mint herb, this vigorous perennial is a wonderful choice for herb gardens, edible containers, kitchen gardens, and patio pots where its scent and flavor can be enjoyed up close. Like most mints, it is best grown in a container or contained area, where its enthusiastic spreading habit can be appreciated without letting it wander through the whole garden.
Plant Lavender Mint in sun to part shade with rich, moist soil and regular water. Harvest often to keep plants bushy, fresh, and full of tender new growth. Its aromatic leaves make it both practical and beautiful, perfect for gardeners who love useful plants with sensory charm. Explore more flavorful favorites in our Edible & Useful collection.
