Malva moschata
Rosea

If you love hollyhocks but want something a little more relaxed and garden-friendly, Malva moschata 'Rosea' might be your new favorite perennial. This Musk Mallow is a graceful, freely blooming plant that covers itself in clear, soft-pink mallow flowers, cup-shaped, silky, and prettily veined from spring through fall, with barely a pause to catch its breath. The deeply lobed, lightly fragrant foliage adds texture and charm even between bloom flushes.

Hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and delightfully easy, 'Rosea' is the kind of plant that earns its space year after year. Bees and butterflies love it, deer tend to leave it alone, and it reseeds gently so you get more plants without any effort. Grow it in full sun to part sun with regular water, and it will reward you with months of cottage-garden loveliness.

Use 'Rosea' in borders, containers, or as a soft, billowing backdrop to lower-growing companions. It layers beautifully with lavender, salvia, and roses for a classic, romantic planting that blooms from season to season with effortless generosity.
