Such whimsy. Cuphea ‘Starfire Pink’ is tough, versatile, fast-growing, and evergreen in mild climates, with countless charming 1" pink, bunny-faced blooms that can appear nearly year-round. This cheerful cigar plant hybrid forms a dense, shrubby mound about 3' tall and wide, bringing color, texture, and hummingbird happiness to all kinds of garden spaces.

Also known as Starfire Pink Cuphea or cigar plant, this easy shrub is useful in borders, containers, pollinator gardens, cottage plantings, and part-sun beds. It tolerates heat and shade, and when happy in rich soil with average water, it can bloom so heavily the foliage is almost hidden. The bright tubular flowers are irresistible to hummingbirds and pair beautifully with salvias, abutilons, grasses, roses, and other long-blooming companions.
