Petunia ‘Black Magic’ brings extraordinary depth and drama to containers and garden beds with velvety, near-black trumpet-shaped flowers. This freely flowering Petunia develops a controlled, mounding-to-trailing habit approximately 10–16 inches tall and 16–20 inches wide. Grow it in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Regular feeding supports vigorous growth and continuous flowering from spring until frost. Although technically a tender perennial in USDA zones 10–11, it is generally grown as an annual.

‘Black Magic’ is especially effective spilling from hanging baskets, window boxes, and mixed containers or creating dark pools of color along sunny border edges. Its unusual flowers pair beautifully with chartreuse foliage, silvery leaves, white blooms, and vivid shades of orange, pink, or lime green. The compact trailing habit also makes it easy to combine with upright and cascading plants.
