We're so happy to bring you this stunning variety that can induce plant lust in even the most hardened of garden soldiers! Brought in by one of our senior propagators who fell in love with it when he spied it in a friend's yard, it forms a perfectly moundy dome of extra-large, ruffley foliage to about 3' high and wide with 5"x5" serrated, upward-cupped leaves. From late Spring thru Summer it produces clusters of 2", sumptuous, magenta flowers with rosy-pink edges and deep burgundy markings - very eye-catching against the olive-green leaves. Thrives in blistering sun and poor soil with only occasional water (once established), however, it grows fastest and has the lushest form in rich soil. Perfect for large containers (10 gal.+), hell strips, and low-maintenance gardens.
