4D Violet Ice

Osteospermum ‘4D Violet Ice’ is a dazzling African daisy with extra-fancy, two-tiered blooms that look almost too perfect to be real. Each 3" flower features a dark lavender button of quilled florets perched above a ring of icy white petals, creating a cool violet-and-white effect that sparkles in containers and garden beds.

This compact, tufted African daisy forms a mound of apple-green foliage spreading to about 18" wide, with upright flower stems reaching 12–18" tall. Blooming from spring into late fall in mild climates, it brings long-lasting color to sunny borders, patio pots, pollinator plantings, and mixed annual or perennial displays. Removing spent flowers encourages an even better bloom show.

Plant Osteospermum ‘4D Violet Ice’ in full sun with well-drained soil. Give new plants regular water and a little fertilizer while establishing; once settled, they are delightfully low maintenance and drought tolerant.
