Sowing & Growing Instructions

Direct sow after frost once the soil has warmed, or start indoors about 3–4 weeks before the last frost. Place in full sun and cover lightly according to the packet directions, keeping the soil evenly moist through emergence.

Harden off transplants before setting them outdoors. Space plants generously enough for air movement and strong branching, and water at the soil line to help keep foliage dry.

The official source lists 75–90 days to maturity. Pinch young plants when established for fuller growth, then cut flowers regularly once the stems are firm to encourage continued bloom.
