Growing quickly to about 3' tall and 30" wide, it forms a bushy, graceful plant covered in 1.5" starry lime-green flowers that glow beautifully from garden beds, borders, cutting gardens, and large containers.

Compared to the 'Saratoga Lime' variety, 'Lime Green' is a classic, open-pollinated heirloom prized for its taller, airy stature and an intoxicating evening fragrance. While 'Saratoga' is a dwarf hybrid bred to be small and uniform, 'Lime Green' reaches 24 to 36 inches in height, making it a perfect cottage garden staple for the middle or back of a border. Please note that its heavily scented blooms naturally relax and droop a bit during the heat of the midday sun before fully opening and releasing their sweet perfume at dusk.
