GIANT single canary yellow blooms - the biggest of any Arctotis, are wonderfully cheerful, showy and ever-blooming from Spring thru Fall (at least). A great bloomer, the flowers, held on 5" stems bear golden-orange anthers ringed with flashy black eye. Vigorous, TOUGH, DROUGHT TOLERANT and DEER RESISTANT the silvery-green wavy foliage creates a nice low, and dense habit to 10" tall and 3' across - making it an excellent choice for parking strips and low maintenance areas. Grow in poor to fertile soil, just provide decent drainage (no heavy clay). Deadhead for a neat appearance and to keep those blooms coming. Cut back to 5" tall and side-dress with " compost anytime to refresh. Hardy to 25F.
