Coral Nymph carries its color with uncommon delicacy. Clouds of salmon-coral, orchid-like flowers reveal tiny white stamens at their centers, creating a luminous two-tone effect that glows above the foliage.

Compact and earlier to bloom than many salvias, this 2-foot hummingbird favorite flowers continuously through summer. It slips easily into a large container, an easy-care border, or a cutting garden where the airy sprays add texture to mixed bouquets.

Sowing & Growing Instructions

Start indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds about 1 inch apart in seed-starting mix, barely cover, and keep moist with strong light. Germination is typically 10–15 days under the source conditions.

After frost and once nights stay above 50°F, harden off and transplant 8 inches apart in full sun. Seeds may also be direct sown into a well-worked bed after the weather is warm and settled.

Salvia handles a range of well-drained soils. Water consistently while plants establish, then cut or deadhead spent flower sprays to support continuous summer bloom.
