Falkia repens, charmingly known as Little Ears, forms a dense, rich green, cushiony mat of rounded leaves that quickly softens bare soil, pot edges, and dry garden spaces without the disappointing woody gaps of many groundcovers.

Native to South Africa, this low-growing succulent groundcover is excellent for containers, rock gardens, hanging baskets, pathway edges, and sunny to lightly shaded beds where a fresh green carpet is needed. Its small, rounded leaves create a smooth, tidy texture, and delicate pale flowers add a sweet seasonal bonus. Let it spill over the rim of a pot, weave between larger succulents, or fill a small area with easy evergreen softness.
