Description
‘Lady Marmalade’ is a deliciously glowing California Poppy in sunset shades of apricot, amber, peach, and gold, with flowers that seem to hold the light long after the sun has moved on. The silky blooms hover over finely cut blue-green foliage, making a soft, shimmering mound that looks right at home in any sunny planting. As easygoing as only a California native can be, it thrives in poor to average well-drained soil and asks for very little once established. Lovely in wildflower gardens, borders, and naturalistic drifts, it may also self-sow if it finds the spot to its liking. Grows about 12" to 14" tall and wide. Deer-resistant and adored by pollinators.
If you enjoy discovering flowers, our blog post highlights some of our favorite garden stars and how to combine them.

Plants arrived with a lot of broken stems. They were packed in a box that was too small. After planting, and care, they seem to be recovering ok and have a few blooms.
