The upright, branching plants make a strong statement in the garden, adding height and a wonderfully full presence that pairs beautifully with grasses, zinnias, and other warm-toned summer flowers. Easy to grow and quick to make an impact, this striking annual is also excellent for cutting, both fresh and dried. Best in full sun with reasonably fertile, well-drained soil and regular water, it thrives through the heat of summer and into fall.
