Description
Compact, graceful, and beautifully native, Achillea millefolium ‘Sonoma Coast’ is a tidy California yarrow selection with a crisp, low habit and plenty of natural charm. First admired for its compact form, this coastal selection keeps the soft grace of native yarrow while fitting neatly into smaller gardens, pathway edges, dry borders, and containers.
Also known as Sonoma Coast Yarrow, it forms a refined mound of ferny foliage and produces flat-topped flower clusters that attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Its easygoing texture blends beautifully with California poppies, sages, buckwheats, native grasses, penstemons, and other drought tolerant perennials. Use it in native plant gardens, meadow-style borders, habitat plantings, and water-wise landscapes where low maintenance beauty is the goal.
Plant Achillea millefolium ‘Sonoma Coast’ in full sun with well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant, deer resistant, and easy to care for. Deadhead for continued bloom or cut back to refresh growth. Explore more useful native-style favorites in our Achillea collection.

The plants arrived in excellent condition.
I love this little low growing yarrow, although one of my plants did not survive last summer after it's 4th year. The other one that gets even more sun is thriving!
