Description
One of the most profuse and longest-blooming hummingbird mints, Agastache aurantiaca ‘Coronado’ brings months of warm color with tangerine-brushed golden tubular flowers from summer into fall. The blooms rise above contrasting silvery-green foliage, creating a bright, aromatic display that looks fabulous in sunny borders, dry gardens, pollinator plantings, and containers.
Also known as Coronado Agastache or hummingbird mint, this upright perennial grows about 2.5' tall and 2' wide, forming a bushy, mint-scented plant that is a magnet for hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Its glowing orange-gold flowers pair beautifully with salvias, yarrow, ornamental grasses, blue flowers, purple blooms, and silver foliage for a heat-loving garden palette.
Plant Agastache aurantiaca ‘Coronado’ in full sun with well-drained soil and some fertility. It loves heat and performs beautifully in containers with regular water and good drainage. Fragrant, floriferous, and wonderfully pollinator-friendly, it is a superb choice for long summer color. Explore more proven perennials in our Best Selling - Perennials & Biennials collection.
