Description
Small, jewel-toned, and ridiculously charming, Lewisia ‘Little Raspberry’ brings rich magenta blooms to rock gardens, containers, and succulent plantings with very little fuss. This compact lewisia forms tidy rosettes of fleshy green leaves, then flaunts its vivid flowers for several months in spring and often again in late summer.
Also known as Little Raspberry Lewisia or bitterroot, this petite perennial reaches about 6" tall and wide, making it perfect for troughs, gravel gardens, crevice plantings, small containers, and the front of sunny, well-drained borders. The raspberry-pink blooms look fabulous against stone, gravel, terracotta, silver foliage, and other drought tolerant succulents. It is especially wonderful where you can admire those bright little flowers up close.
Plant Lewisia ‘Little Raspberry’ in full sun to part shade with sharply drained soil. Avoid heavy, wet conditions, especially around the crown, and water modestly once established. Sweet, colorful, and beautifully compact, this is a tiny plant with an impressive bloom habit. Explore more collectible beauties in our Lewisia collection.
