Description
Heat tolerant, drought tolerant, and wildly floriferous, Gomphrena ‘Fireworks’ is a big-bang-for-the-buck annual that just keeps going. This easy globe amaranth grows quickly into a broad, airy plant covered in hot pink, clover-like blooms tipped with tiny golden sparks, creating a shimmering show from summer into fall.
Also known as Fireworks globe amaranth, this prolific bloomer is fabulous in pollinator gardens, cutting gardens, dry borders, cottage plantings, and large containers. Bees and butterflies love the nectar-rich flowers, while gardeners love the long stems, excellent vase life, and usefulness in both fresh and dried arrangements. Its open habit looks wonderful weaving among grasses, salvias, zinnias, cosmos, and other sun-loving annuals.
Plant Gomphrena ‘Fireworks’ in full sun with well-drained soil. Once established, it handles heat and dry conditions beautifully, though occasional water keeps the display especially lush. Easy, long-blooming, and delightfully festive, this globe amaranth brings color and motion for months. Explore more summer favorites in our Annuals collection.

Plant Care & Arrival Guide

It is a beautiful plant and is heat tolerant. I use it to add a pop of color in areas that are hard to grow plants in summer.
I have 3 very large containers that are the focal point in entry area for my house. With a beautiful Dahlia in center of each pot they are real head turners !
