Salvia greggii ‘Royal Bumble’ delivers an astonishing scarlet red—rich, saturated, and glowing—with a depth of color that feels almost velvety in the garden. Each perfectly formed ½-inch bloom hovers against dramatic black calyxes, held aloft on inky, upright stems that give the whole plant a striking, couture-quality contrast.

The habit is naturally compact and beautifully bushy, forming a rounded mound to about 30" tall and wide, and in mild climates it blooms with remarkable persistence—flowering again and again as if it simply can’t help itself.
