Description
Sweet, spicy, and pretty as a Georgia peach, Dianthus ‘Georgia Peach Pie’ is a long-blooming carnation with frilly 2" flowers in light peachy-pink, each finished with a watercolor center and a vibrant raspberry ring. The blooms appear from spring through fall on sturdy, non-floppy stems, bringing fragrance, color, and bouquet-worthy charm to the garden.
Also known as Georgia Peach Pie Pinks, this compact Dianthus forms a handsome mat of blue-green evergreen foliage to about 11" tall and wide. It is perfect for the edge of a bed, sunny containers, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator-friendly plantings. Each stem carries multiple buds, and deadheading keeps the flowers coming for a long, delicious season.
Plant Dianthus ‘Georgia Peach Pie’ in full sun with well-drained soil. It is happiest at the front of a border or in a 2+ gallon container, with an annual 1" side-dress of compost. Cut back to about 3" tall in fall. Explore more fragrant favorites in our Dianthus - Carnation collection.
