Brilliant, blazing, and absolutely impossible to ignore, Clarkia amoena ‘Scarlet’ may be one of the showiest Clarkias of all. This California native wildflower bursts into bloom with intense scarlet, open-faced flowers, each petal edged in a thin pink border that leads to a soft pink heart. Also known as Godetia, Scarlet Clarkia blooms in spring to early summer, often producing 6" wide clusters of 2" flowers above finely textured green foliage.
