One of the BEST HUMMINGBIRD PLANTS around – with a longer bloom season than other Zauschnerias, this sturdy fella forms a woody shrub up to 4-5’ tall! Producing abundant 1-2” brightest-red tubular flowers Summer thru Fall. Pretty soft, gray-green foliage on reddish branches spread rhizomatically over time. Contrasts beautifully with green foliage plants. Extremely low-maintenance & drought tolerant once established, but looks best with occasional Summer water. Provide excellent drainage for a healthy plant. Pretty in a container (10 gallon +). Cut back during Winter dormancy for best habit the following year.
