Okay, so you want an EASY, super showy eyecatcher that blooms Spring all the way to Fall with little care? One that returns reliably each year? Terrific as a specimen, edger or groundcover (that really covers) this bright and happy CA native perennial bears a multitude of 2” red speckled sunny yellow “monkeys” all season (with Summer water). Showiest in good soil but CLAY tolerant. Cut back in Winter to refresh. Butterflies! Deer resistant. Nice for growing around ponds.
