This lovely hybrid toadflax features bicolor snapdragon-like 1/2” flowers that are rosy pink on top and butter yellow on the bottom. Ours are grown by seed so slight variation is normal. Sitting atop 3' high stems, the endless parade of flowers is much sought after by bees and butterflies. The tall slender stems, the upper foot filled with flowers, also make this pretty flower a natural as a cut flower. Filling in densely, this perennial toadflax begins flowering in late spring and continues well into the summer. It makes an easy addition to any sunny bed and will most likely naturalize there. It requires only a little regular water to be happy and continues to put out new stems well into the fall. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Cut to the ground in winter for fresh spring growth.
