I grew this fast growing tree-like shrub, planted in a cow trough in my backyard for a quickie privacy screen and I just love it! Multi-trunked from the base to 8-10’ tall and 8’ across with lovely bright emerald feathery leaves, it blooms all Summer, from June to October with a of riot of gorgeous 5” cluster-bunches of fancy golden-orange 2” trumpets. I love the long lasting show and the hummingbirds go crazy for it! Very easy, carefree, heat and drought tolerant and rarely, if ever, needs pruning. Not fussy about soil but better and faster with drainage, compost and some Summer water. Deer resistant! Evergreen to deciduous in colder areas.
