This is not one of the modern dwarf hybrids but an original tall bushy and very floriferous species from Chile. Incredibly showy with masses of magenta-pink, orchid like flowers, this rare and exciting annual blooms for months in bright shade. Each flower has a fascinating erect yellow central petal veined in red. To 20” tall and 16” across, it’s a wonderful choice for a pot (at least 12” across) on your front porch or patio. Grow in rich, compost soil. Self-sows!
