Butterfly Ranunculus are truly unique, and none is dreamier than Musa! These are a branching variety, each plant having many stems, with numerous flowers on each. Musa's fully double flowers are coral-pink in the center, radiating out to a creamy peach. These sun-lovers first form finely textured green foliage to 15" high, then put out a seemingly endless procession of blooms. Ranunculus can be planted in containers or in garden beds, and are cultivated to be ideal as long-lasting cut flowers. Best in fertile, well-draining soil spaced 12" and at a depth of 1" to 2". Plant in fall for spring bloom in regions with mild winters; winter dormant where hardy. Elsewhere plant after risk of freeze and lift bulbs to overwinter indoors, or simply grow as a summer-blooming annual. Deer are typically not interested.
