Butterfly Ranunculus are truly unique, and none is dreamier than Musa! These are a branching variety, each plant having many stems, with numerous flowers on each. Musa's fully double flowers are coral-pink in the center, radiating out to a creamy peach. These sun-lovers first form finely textured green foliage to 15" high, then put out a seemingly endless procession of blooms. Ranunculus can be planted in containers or in garden beds, and are cultivated to be ideal as long-lasting cut flowers. Ranunculus can be planted in containers or in garden beds spaced 4” to 6” and at a depth of 1” to 2”. In zones 9 & 10, plant bulbs in well drained soils in fall for early spring blooms. In mild regions, dormant bulbs can be left in the ground. Elsewhere, bulbs can be planted in early spring for late spring into early summer blooms. In zones 8 and under bulbs can be lifted and stored to ensure years and years of beautiful blooms. Deer are typically not interested.
