Super dwarf heirloom shelling peas are ultra-compact and productive with vigorous vines that yield heavy amounts of 3-4” pods with 6-9 peas nestled in each pod. Can be eaten fresh, canned or frozen. Fantastic for containers or rows, plant 2-3” apart in containers and 18-24” apart in rows. Grow in rich, well-draining soil with plenty of compost and fertilize with fish emulsion every other week for best yield. Great planted with beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, celery, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, radishes, strawberries, tomatoes and turnips. Avoid planting with onions, garlic, chives, leeks and shallots. 60-65 days to harvest.
