Like Verbena bonariensis, this Patrinia has grown in value & popularity as a “see-through plant” providing extra garden creativity & fun. Being in the Valerian family, it’s EXTREMELY EASY to grow, too. The flat, chrome-yellow flower heads, 5” across, are made up of numerous little sweet-scented star-flowers & are held above strongly upright, branching stems all Summer & into the Fall. The attractive, bold, divided, dark green leaves are glossy & turn yellow in the Fall. Airy & lovely in cut flower arrangements. Average garden soil. May reseed for delightful garden surprises.
