A pearl of an onion with a beautiful saucer-like shape & a sweet, mild flavor. I love this onion (from “cipolla” – Italian for onion) & not just because my mom keeps sharing seeds with me – it’s elegant, nicely flavored & is the perfect size and shape for shish kebabs or pickling.
