One of the very best Honeysuckles you can grow! Whorls of wonderfully fragrant 2” flowers are pink in bud, opening to reveal creamy white throats. Exceptionally easy to grow, blooms appear early Summer and keep coming right up until first frost, much to the delight of the hummers and butterflies! Growing up to 20’ tall with time, it’s not a voracious climber and should be given something to latch onto, such as a sturdy trellis, arbor, or metal fence. The attractive, rounded, blue-green foliage is evergreen in warm Winter climates, deciduous elsewhere. Not picky about soil. Prune every year or so to refresh and encourage new growth. Actually a European hybrid and not native to the Americas, despite the name. Drought tolerant once fully established, but looks best with average water.
