Dense clusters of 1” cheerful custard-yellow blooms burst forth from evergreen rosettes of deep green leathery leaves. Super COLD HARDY, heavy blooming and easy to grow – “Cliff Maids” just need excellent drainage and fertilizer once to twice a year (that’s poop, not chemicals) for a happy, healthy, bloomiferous plant. Grows to about 10” across and only a few inches tall, flowering for an extended period in mid-Spring AND early Fall. An imminently rewarding and showy native of California and Oregon! Loves to be planted in clay pots with plenty of gravel added, on the edges of raised beds or tucked into a rock wall.
