This Ecuadorian cloud forest shrub/small tree rocks its hummingbird magnet blooms YEAR ROUND (even in Winter)! Related to the lovely Brugmansia, it sports clusters of 2” long, purple-blue blooms. Flowers happen on new growth, which means it’s totally pruneable. Growing to 10-12’ high by 3-5’ wide fairly quickly, prune it to whatever size your heart desires. Near the coast it’s cool in the sun, but for those of you in warmer places, plant in a shadier place to protect from hot afternoon sun. ALL PARTS POISONOUS!
