This super RARE and BEAUTIFUL, pink-flowering variety of alpine “Carnation” is a sight to behold! Forming 10-12” high foliage clumps, each containing a multitude of wiry stems, this native of Turkey and S.E. Asia bursts into bloom in early Summer. The highly decorative 1–1.5” wide pale pink flowers are deeply dissected, giving the appearance of feathery blooms. A prolific bloomer during the warmer months of Summer and Fall, this tough and drought tolerant sport will reward gardeners and butterflies alike with nonstop lightly fragrant blooms. A versatile perennial, at home in planting beds and containers alike, it can be used as a mat-forming ground cover, even in problem areas that don’t get much water. Not fussy about the quality of soil but must drain freely. Deer resistant.
