How fun! Like whorls of colorful parakeets perched on short, lateral stems, this large-flowered “Toadflax” is entertaining, as well as eye-catching. Swoop-tailed, 2” flowers of vibrant violet-purple with yellow throats stand out in the garden on a mass of upright and branchy stems. Pretty, low, blue-green foliage, too. EASY and fun, all you need is rich, well-drained soil. Really nice in a pot (10+ gal.). Makes excellent cut flowers and self-sows when happy. To 3’x2’. Fairly drought tolerant once established.
