Come late spring, the 10-12” high plants are smothered in inch plus wide, daisy like flowers that are most likely to be purple, but can also be blue, pink or even white. They each feature a white ring and a nectar-rich golden center. This easy to grow Aster family member is perfect for adding instant wow to any sunny bed. Combine with other blue or pink-blooming plants or create a sensation by massing several of these heavy bloomers for an eye-catching show. Once blooms begin to fade, deadhead for a second wave of flowers. Perfect for containers too. Flowers are visited by bees and butterflies and only need a bit of regular water to be happy.
