Pretty burgundy 1-5” long “rabbit tail” blooms are held above and amongst a 3’ by 3’ clump of dense, bright-green foliage. Fast-growing and drought tolerant – this lush ornamental grass is evergreen in frost-free zones. Blooms form in Summer, lasting for many months and are perfect for both fresh and dried bouquets. Performs beautifully as an annual in colder zones and tends to reseed for plenty of freebies! Provide excellent drainage for a happy, healthy plant. Lovely in a container. Cut back to a couple inches in early Spring for fresh new growth.
